Hofstra need a 42 point effort to beat NU. Only one other HU player scored in double figures with 10 pts.

Hofstra led by 10, then you led by 9 with under 5 minutes left before Wright-Foreman made a 3 to go down 6 with 4:09 left. At the end with it tied at 72, Gresham got a defensive rebound, Brace missed a 3, and Gresham got another rebound to let you hold for the final shot. Pusica shot too soon, letting Jacquil Taylor knock the rebound to Wright-Foreman to make a 3 off the backboard at the buzzer. It made ESPN's homepage. Shooting too soon was what Towson did to end their home winning streak when they hosted Hofstra on January 11, 2018. Towson got the ball tied at 73 with 20 seconds left. Brian Starr missed a 3 with 6 seconds left, and Jalen Ray made a 3 at the buzzer. Starr last season and Pusica now are both seniors. I'm not saying players have to shoot so late that the buzzer goes off while the ball is in the air, but Pusica should have waited long enough that even if he missed and Hofstra got the rebound, they would have had to shoot immediately from their own basket and have no chance at winning in regulation.
It was the most points by a Hofstra player at home in Division I, and possibly the most points by a Hofstra player at home ever. Before Wright-Foreman, the most recent time a Hofstra player may have scored 42 at home was in 1963, and there aren't any records of where the games were going that far back.
Liked the announcers...in spite of the fact that the color guy called us Northwestern. Hated the video.
