I will never forget the Trey F. shot to beat Murray State and the whole team running over to Dustin. Maybe they should cut him a little slack for the sake of history. Plus it would be embarrassing to play Duke at the TED and see their students thrown out for violating the dress code at the TED.

They didn’t run to over to Dustin. Trey followed the direction of his shot and the team ended up in front of where Broderick sits.

Well for starters, his name is dustin (based on all the other people’s comments). And unless he has lost an enourmous amount of weight in the last 4 hours, fat (or obese) is the correct adjective to describe his body type.

So my fandom is based on me not taking off my shirt? Guess that means everyone EXCEPT the large man has no fandom.

And reading is fundamental, I literally said Global has him on a short lease due to HIS decision to drop his pants a couple years ago.

Just got home to Richmond. What a game. Don't know where to start but kudos to Wade for getting us going with the steal and dunk and then kudos to the entire bench. Jones is just going to have to turn Kithcart lose and tell him to ball cause that kid has some game. He was the quickest guy on the floor. And how about our two young bigs starting to grow up! Dickens and Ezikpe battled with Bassey all night and that guy is a load. I thought they both played at a high level. Our future looks bright in the low posts. How can you not like this team? They may not be the most talented team we have ever had but they play with a lot of passion. I took a buddy of mine to the game from Richmond that doesn't know much about ODU BB and he was standing up and cheering hard in the second half. And speaking of cheering.....our crowd was fantastic. in the end it was just a fun night.

Is this the first time a school has rallied to win after trailing 21-0 in football and men’s basketball in the same season?

Gotta ask a simple question. Why would taking off his shirt and flopping his manboobs around now be taboo when it was, at the very least, tolerated by staff at the TED for several years? Dude starts reaching for the drawstring again, absolutely he should be gone; but why now forbidding actions that had always been tolerated in the past with no ejections. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Was not there tonight, but it seems Dustin violated the standard and now they are making the new standard even more strict than the old standard (i.e. shirt). I struggle to find a behavioral parallel that would be enforced similarly.

Not my rule, I thought it was funny the first couple times. But he knows not to do it and still did it.

It was fun when it was new. For a while it was a visceral reaction by him during the excitement of the game and there was some charm to it. Now it's used as a platform for attention. There are better associations for ODU basketball than a fat man taking his shirt off.

The difference between this and the shirtless Cameron Crazies is that Duke has a culture of that behavior there. It is multiple students who do it. You don't associated the nudeness with one person. And it is different in the student section than elsewhere.

Fair comments from both and was not there tonight. And I tend to agree the personal attention may eclipsed the "superfan" role. Just unfortunate that rules were not followed (dustin) nor consistently applied (ODU), IMHO.

I brought 12 folks to the game who are not season ticket holders - 7 of which have never been to an ODU game at all.

For the first 10 minutes I was SO disappointed that they had to see such a sad performance and thought it was going to be a total downer and they would never want to come to a game again.

Of course I was wrong and by the end, the whole lot of them were standing and yelling. Super glad that the guys pilled it out. What a game to see. That's two amazing college basketball games in a row at the Ted. If you aren't getting out to the games, you need to find a way to attend a few - we are playing exciting ball right now.

We’ve had some really special wins this year. Would love to have won that Marshall game but this one was much sweeter. What a comeback. The atmosphere at the TED these last two games has been amazing. Was so great to see the young guys pull us out of the major whole we dug ourselves into.

1) that blonde... she's OK in my book.
2) Doug Gotlieb. He's normally a tool, but he always seems to give props to ODU, so he's OK.
3) This felt a lot like the VCU game. There was a lid on the basket for the first 10 min of the game. what's up with that? We cannot keep digging ourselves into a hole.
4) I agree with Smitty about #20. A 6'9" guard? Does he think he's Magic Freaking Johnson? Anyways, BJ ripped the ball a bunch off him and was a pleasure to have on WKU's side
5) How about Kalu taking it to the 5* NBA prospect wo fear? I like E's swag!
6) Dajour... dayum, he was playing with a mission today. His flushes were fierce.
7) Wade has got that Finney (not DFS) game-winning ability that doesnt show up on a mediocre stat line. I love this kid!
8) And let's hope AC13 is OK. he was awol since heading to the locker room

As far as D1 basketball it was a 28-0 deficit ESPN radio was discussing it at the end of the broadcast on the way home .

Just a question, if the students had been there last night and taken their shirts off and started twirling them in the air would they have been removed? Just to prove a point. I know, I know, he's probably on a short leash. After all these years it still makes me laugh to see it.
