Copypasta from the announcement:

There's been a drive failure on the server. We're running in degraded mode for now but if we lose another drive that's a wrap. So I need to get in there and take the site down long enough to swap out the failed drive, migrate data over, then swap out the other old drive, and restore the RAID array. The site can be up for some of this work, but there will be outages from time to time as reboots happen. Also, I would expect the site to operate a bit slowly being under such heavy load from the disks being brought back into sync.

How are we going to complain during the WKU game if the board is down. Inquiring minds need to know.

Whew. Thank gawd the site was down for honest technical reasons.... if it were running at 100% efficiency, the WKUODU game would have blown it up from the negative fan comments.
