ESPN is recognizing the sesquicentennial of football throughout 2019. As someone who's old enough to remember the "100" logo on helmets in 1969, I thought this was worth mentioning. I just hope that ESPN decides the 35-0 Rockets and other MAC highlights are worth mentioning, either online or on one of the ESPN channels. That its discussion of football history isn't just about schools like Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Don't get your hopes up. If they mention a non-P5 school I'd be surprised.

It is merely clickbait.

Wonder if they will mention anything about The Carlisle Indians? The only team that could actually use the name Indians without someone complaining about it.
