Eh, I didn't see much wrong with their responses. I was expecting a lot worse. They were just tongue in cheek retorts from an extremely frustrated fanbase that is in no mood for any kind of "moral victories".

None thanked you for the kind words so yeah, that comes off poorly. But I've had mostly positive experiences posting over on the JMU board overall, so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Also, during the game, they had a lot of nice things to say about Toews.

Yeah. I wasn’t overly offended or I would have fired back, but Gary Miller I do appreciate the sentiment (though I know I’m quoting 08 here). I agree 08 in terms of their not wanting to hear about moral victories. We can certainly understand that. I’m just glad to be part of a fan base that I can’t really fathom any of you responding like that. We generally take that high road Gary Miller mentioned. Just didn’t want y’all to potentially do the same and receive the same result. Oh wells. Let’s go get another road win!!!!

yes, when someone else posts nice, game good luck rest of the way, we generally wish them well then continue to bit$# among ourselves about how crappy we were :)

Once they get a win I’m confident they’ll be back to chill. No worries.
