FAU (9-4) is ranked 206th by KenPom.com. They have lost to Bethune Cookman (314) and Ark State (274), but they just beat Illinois (113) last Saturday in OT on the road. They also beat Mercer (185) by 4. UAB beat Mercer by 8.

FAU’s best scorer and rebounder, Jailyn Ingram, is out for the season with a torn ACL. He has missed their last three games.

FAU’s coach, Dusty May, was an assistant at UAB 2007-2009.

Top player to watch is probably Anthony Adger (6-1, 170 Sr.). He is 29-77 (37.7%) from behind the 3-point arc. He is also 32-40 (80%) from the foul line.

KenPom has UAB (183) favored by 5 points.
In the recent FAU win over Illinois, FAU actually led by 9 with six minutes remaining in the game, but Illinois came back to send the game into OT. FAU outscored Illinois 10-8 in overtime.

FAU had 51 rebounds to Illinois’ 38, but FAU had 22 turnovers while Illinois only had 11. FAU only made four 3-pointers, but they made five more free throws and six more 2-pointers.

It was a huge win for FAU, and they didn’t even have Jailyn Ingram.

Adger led the way with 27 points, while Niang (6-9 210 Fr.) had 14 rebounds and 12 points.
Dusty is a good dude.
We really need to win the conference games against marginal opponents at home. We have to win the games we're "supposed" to win and steal a couple others. Can't afford a WTF loss this year.
