Government classes just aren't teaching the basics, apparently.
Since I am assuming he knows what a RPO is, then the question is does he know what communism is? A really strange comment.
So he means that the RPO takes from each back & eligible receiver according to their abilities and gives to each according to their needs?

I'm thinking it's only half communism on that measure ... it takes from each back & receiver according to their abilities.

Of course, that's the half that capitalism does as well, so it doesn't really tell us very much.

Communism would be donating 3 Pick 6’s and a win to a 4-8 MAC team.

There you go ... those were within Northwestern's abilities, and DEFINITELY met Akron's needs.

No, that's socialism.

Communism is when each receiver and back gets exactly 20% of the carries.

Capitalism is when the quarterback accounts for 90% of the yardage because "possession is 9/10ths of the law"

Free enterprise is "take what the defense gives you"

Dictatorship is "just give the trophy to Alabama now because they'll trample you if you don't"

Is Trumpism implementing the Steel Curtain?
"You keep using that word, communism. I don't think it means what you think it means."

I was paraphrasing the hirsute Karl Marx (though I personally prefer Harpo) ... if this is not about theoretical communism, but is about the "communism" like I recall the USSR doing things in the 70s, it'll be something about "they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work".

Now, I don't know how to line that up exactly, but it seems to more or less fit what Northwestern was doing in the game against Akron.
