Yet you typed out a response in a thread about the *rick? Rich.

Sure did.

I've also mentioned his wife before whenever his name surfaces on this board.

It wasn't an attack on you or your thread, silly.

I didn’t take it as an attack on me or the thread.

Is that an actual quote?? If so, dumbest thing ive ever read. Coach is a role - not above or below players
Adding more fuel to Penny and Mike’s Fire. Memphis thrives on proving haters wrong.
In other news, pro wrassler trashes his next opponent in fiery rant. Tickets were sold.

I added the choked part as he stood next to Bobby Knight while he choked Neil Reed then lied about it. But yes the rest is all Dan the Man.

The coach is above the players except in NBA. Have to be to get their respect.
Did someone provoke him to state those comments?

That's bizarre and childish to take such personal jabs unprovoked. Sounds like he's trolling.
Penny took the high road and didn't address Dakich directly. Penny is a different coach, said as much, and the old schoolers don't know how to react to it.

I love it.

One way not to react to Penny and our program is to conduct yourself with some class and not act like a punk.
Who?

Dakich wasn't even worthy of a "Dakich, get the f@$$ out of here" from Penny.

I disagree. In any successful program, the coach is WAY above the players. A successful coach is the representation of the program and sets the standards of how the program should prepare, perform and behave. A successful coach is the ultimate authority figure of the program and is WAY above the players.

And Dan Dakich is a goober who just wants attention. So why give it too him?

If he was able to make his living coaching then he would be coaching.
"As a head coach, Dakich is most notably remembered for being tied to two programs with reported NCAA violated violations -West Virginia University and Indiana University-and sputtering out the end to the once promising 2007-2008 Indiana Mens Basketball season with first round exits in both the Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA Basketball Tournament"
"At the end of the 2008 season he served as the interim head coach at Indiana University, following Kelvin Sampson's resignation due to NCAA recruiting violations.[8] Under Dakich's guidance, the Hoosiers went 0-2 in postseason play, losing in the first rounds of the Big 10 and NCAA tournaments. After the season, IU declined to offer Dakich the job on a permanent basis, opting instead for Tom Crean."

Meanwhile this ******* is telling everyone that Penny is no good.

Penny won’t even have to try to be better than his pathetic ass.
What an awesome coaching record. Why would anyone care what this clown thinks?
