We need AState to win, and every other major conference to take 2 losses essentially. PAC 12, per usual is already at 2 losses. SEC is at 1 Big 10 took their first loss with Purdue getting obliterated today. ACC is already at 2 as well. Could use Syracuse holding on to beat WVU this evening. Would put the Big 12 at 1 loss.

Remember, National Semifinals count towards Bowl Challenge Cup. The Title game does not.

Everything I can find shows the title game does count. Last year the SEC had 9 bowl games including the semis and is credited with a 5-6 record in the cup standings. Whether the title game counts or not, if SBC finishes 4-1 it wins the cup with 3 losses by ACC and SEC and 2 losses by the others. I'm not going to bother with the possibilities if SBC finishes 4-2 because I believe the Red Wolves will win.
How do MAC teams keep getting invited?

Same we reason we keep getting invited...6 wins.
Sorry for the let down. A-State was 3 touchdowns better than the team that won the game.

All conference teams should be delighted that there is no chance that we fire Anderson.

Why no update? 07-coffee3
I wish LA tech had been good enough to play in the NOLA bowl, beating them by 30 would have really cleaned this site up.

All they do is underachieve (in their minds) in the regular season finishing 3rd in CUSA west so they can play a bad G5 team. Then thump their chest. Go ahead and pencil them in against the 4th place MAC team for 2019.

You mean that school that hasn't had a 10-win season in 34 years? Or that hasn't won a conference title since they were in the WAC before it imploded?
Damn 34 years in the FBS, it’s a shame they’ve been passed by so many programs during that time.
Oh you mean the underachieving 5 bowl wins in a row. I wouldn’t be so sure you would have won
You win bowl games due to underachieving in the regular season year after year. Keep up.
One of those five straight bowl wins was against Sun Belt Champion Ark State in the New Orleans Bowl. The Red Wolves had a pretty good team that year and you guys were all saying this same BS before that game was played. You all had to eat crow as we handily won that game by 21 points or so.
Yippee the highlight of LA Tech football makes another appearance.

Everyone beats Ark St in bowl games get in line.

Yet we have never lost a football game to a Sunbelt team. Keep up.
SEC gets exposed again.
