Georgia Tech: Source tells FootballScoop Toledo running backs coach Kerry Dixon is expected to join Geoff Collins’ staff likely to coach receivers we hear. Prior to joining the Toledo staff for this season, Dixon spent three seasons as receivers coach at Florida.

That was one of our few strong position coaches, good luck to Coach Dixon who did a splendid job with UT.

Tough loss. Why couldn't we lose our LB, OL and DC guys. Guess nobody wants them.

+1 although he was only here one year. The others you mentioned unfortunately probably will not get poached
Can't say I blame him for leaving. It's got to be a ton more money. We should promote Javon Ringer to RB Coach. He was All American at Michigan State and played 9 years in The NFL.

Sounds like we have it covered...hopefully he doesn't go anywhere.
Only hope I have for improvement next year is that Candle is working on getting the DC and OL coaches opportunities elsewhere. Kind of like Amstutz did for West.

I think the DC is ready to be a HC somewhere - but BG already made a move for one. He would have been a good fit there.
Too bad we can’t have Tom back as our DC. His defenses were pretty good and he could recruit pretty darn good ball players.
So is this why we didn’t sign any RB commits?

Rockets got a commit from Jaquez Stuart the #16 APB in the country. Runs a 10.4 100 meters. RB Jalen Mitchell has not committed to anyone yet. UT was very interested in him.

Doubt it. Dixon was only at UT since March of this year.
From what I just read, Jaquez Stuart (spelled Jacquez) is headed to Northwestern. Jalen Mitchell has interest from Miami and Toledo. Speaking of "The U" what happened to that team? Wisconsin dominated them in The Pinstripe Bowl and Miami ended up 7-6. Can't say I'm too upset about them mailing it in.

Oops. Missed that one. Well good. Thanks for clarifying that.
