After another sizable, yet expected defeat, our non conference schedule concluded. We finished up 6-7, 5-7 against DI opponents. We have seen ups and seen downs, however the real season now begins. The quest for the CAA championship is now in front of us where all 10 teams start off on level footing. The conference will be a 1 bid league again this season, so getting to March and winning then is the ultimate goal.

Starting this journey off we get to go on the road against the preseason favorite Northeastern Huskies. NU has been beaten and battered through their OOC but are starting to get healthier. This is a talented group that played a challenging schedule. They sit at 6-6 with losses to Boston, Virginia Tech, Davidson(x2), Syracuse, and Vermont. Only Boston is a bad loss there. Their wins come against: Harvard, Alabama, Bucknell, Eastern Michigan, Oakland, and St Bonaventure. That has some nice wins there. This might have been one of the finer OOC schedules I have seen by a mid from top to bottom.

NU comes in at 117 in the RPI and 142 in the NET.
DU is 244 in the RPI and 265 in the NET.

These games tend to be close, however, our defense has been very suspect and NU moves the ball very well. If NU hits their shots we are in a lot of trouble. If their 3's are not connecting, we can keep this close. Based on our recent defense as well as us being a bit turnover prone, I do not see this one ending well. I think NU makes a statement to start off conference play.

DU- 65
NU- 87
83 Drexel 79 NU. Wynter is coming!
