Just wanted to acknowledge. Beat out #50 UCF for the best recruiting class in the G5 and AAC according to Rivals. This might be one of our best recruiting classes ever. Norvell and crew really put in the work. Now let's go get those offensive and defensive coordinators 04-cheers
Love the fact we are getting so many players who have SEC offers.
That D line could be fun in a couple of years!

Our pass rush seemed to be terribly lacking at times and it was clearly a recruiting emphasis this year. And they went out and got some great looking prospects to address the issue.
just find me some young men and a DC that wants to tackle. wrap em up and put em on the ground tackling. that's all I want for Christmas!!!!!

Exciting stuff! 04-cheers
This is amazing. Fuente and now Norvell continue to show what is possible here.
Five straight bowl games, two divisional championships (would be really nice to say AAC championships, but oh well for now) and solid recruiting.

We have a legitimate NCAA FBS program.

Also, notice how few JUCOs have been recruited in the last few years. A very good sign. Nothing against JUCOs, it's just that they are a sign of a program that is not putting in the work for recruiting and are looking for a quick fix. 2/3 JUCOs per class is not a bad idea. Anything more and it's pretty dicey.

and red shirting a whole class, building
Norvell getting it done.
It feels so odd to have an actual foundation finally established. We are no longer one defection away from 2-10 again. so very proud of the administration and coaches. And kudos also to you fans who still live in the area and go out there game after game. So proud of the Tigers!!
Grateful to Fuente for a lot of things.

But he simply doesn't recruit like Norvell does. I hope our man after Norvell recruits like him.
Don't be to quick to state Fuente can't recruit. He (V Tech) has the 30th recruiting class in the nation according to Rivals for 2019!!!!!!!!!

We're only 17 spots behind...

Interesting.

Point taken then. Good for him.
I've been thinking about this, have we ever had a better recruiting class than Tennessee/Arkansas Yet, they suck every year lately!

You can't just go by recruiting services, we rely on kids who have heart and desire, who Might ba a couple inches shorter or a second slower, but who want it more and are willing to outwork other players and teams and it shows. You can't measure heart, if you could every school in the country would have recruited Henderson, Pollard, A Miller, and some of our other playmakers.

Plus, our coaches have developed offensive schemes that fit our playmakers and give them opportunities to make plays

Go Tigers!!!

We don’t play Alabama and Georgia every year.

We may not have been able to beat Alabama or Georgia either the past few years. But that is beside the point. I would have gladly put money on us kicking Arkansas or UTK's ass on the football field the past several seasons...
Norvell killed it this year. This is our most impressive haul. Nearly all of our players are three stars.

Rivals is also notorious for rating players higher/lower based on their school selection. In reality, Norvell probably has a class that beats out many of P5 schools ranked ahead of him.
Norvell and staff did an excellent job. Tiger football is on firm, sustainable footing - a nearly unthinkable prospect just five years ago.
We have come a long way since the stormy night when we lost to UT-Martin on 9/1/12.
