I believe that the AAC is the overall better conference than the MWC, but that doesn't reflect in recruiting and I wonder why. Boise signed three 4 star players, Hank Bachmeier, the highest rated qb to ever sign with a G5, I believe, Casey Kline and Austin Griffin, despite what many Boise fans consider tov be a disappointing season. The entire AAC signed 0, yes 0 4 stars despite having some very dynamic teams. Can anyone explain why? Thanks

Hopefully they can 22 positions.
Does it really matter if Boise keeps getting shutout of New Years Bowl?

That's a coaching fail, but certainly not a recruiting one.

They are all from California. On the east coast they are three stars, maybe two. There is your answer.

The most important stat is and will be, how many NY6 bowls will the MW be getting?

Thank you for your interest in the AAC.
Wake Forest signed 2. Both WRs.

Thats nice. Can you explain why SDSU just got beat down by a mac team? I guess swinging from Boise's balls is better than crying in your beer eh fanhood?
I'm seeing a bunch of skill players at the top, and not a lot of OL and DL.
you are literally only here to brag, so ill let you have your moment

boise gets more than 1 composite 4star in a recruitng class in tis history and you had to let us know....

and our dominance does reflect in recruiting ... 1 year based on 3 players doesn't change that ...the average 5 year recruit rankings for all g5, the top 5 would all be AAC, then boise, then 2 more aac, then fresno and sdsu, wku (with thier non qulaifiers) then the rest of the aac (not navy) before the rest of the other g4 show up

What does SDSU have to do with the thread topic? They suck and as per usual, they were one of our yearly shat the bed losses.

Huh? It says my team affiliation right under my username and has stated such since I signed up here.
if this was basketball you all would be in business.
Freshwater was a 4* before he committed to ECU then they immediately dropped him to a high 3* just like they did with Ahlers last year.

The #2 MWC team is recruiting at a level similar to the #5-7 AAC teams. This is actually important when you consider "ease of path" to the NY6 bowl game. Boise State has a safer route than most of the AAC contenders in a given year.
While the star ratings are somewhat helpful they are also very biased.

For example, UCF top commit Keenan Hester was offered by UNC, Texas A&M, Tennessee and other P5s. After committing to UCF on 10/7, his rating dropped 151 points.

ECU's Traevon Freshwater was ranked as a 4 star with offers from 8 P5 schools. After committing to ECU on 8/6, his ranking dropped from 407 to 706.

I'm sure there are many more examples. Our current quarterback was a 4 star before picking ECU over NC State.

The rating services are a money making business and they want to keep the people with the money happy. There's nothing inherently fair or honest about it.

As evidence, here's the list of analysts 247/Scout recommends contacting to have a player rated:

How many AAC experts are on that list? Rating services typically pump up any P5 recruits but if they don't play the game, they're left to rot on the vine.

This x100. UCF has tons of players in the NFL that were 2 and 3 star players and tons for failed 4 stars. Look at who has the most NFL players from the G5 and the college recruiting rankings don’t correlate when it comes to UCF. For all of these reasons I do not worry about the rankings. UCF likely just signed its best class of all time, including flipping a player with a legit offer from Miami and a QB from Hawaii who has legit offers to Georgia and USC, that was being predicted to go to USC. Let’s see where Boise and the top AAC teams are in 2 or 3 years.
Its not the star they have before they get there, its how they play once they are there. I don't put much faith into how these star rankings go and get conjured up.
Why would you post this here? Complaining you purchased tickets in the wrong section of a visitors stadium for months on end better
