I know I’m late to the party but congratulations to UAB fans everywhere on a gloriously triumphant season. What y’all endured to get to this point, is something I wouldn’t even wish on LSU or Florida. A division title, a conference title and a bowl victory against another conference-champion. A Head Coach receiving his rightful due in the national press. Can’t get much sweeter than that! May there be many more such seasons in your future.

Thank you, sir. Its an exciting time, particularly for those of us who saw the team start up from the club level and then suffer from outright obstructionism for so many years. Sweet, sweet day. And frankly, the deeper impact of this story is much greater than just the football outcomes.
