Remarkable 2nd half from UB tonight. Clearly the better team.
Up 67-59 with 1:11 left. Massinburg, Harris, Perkins, and co. have been impressive tonight. I've only been following MAC basketball since 2010 (my freshman year), but this is easily the best MAC team I've ever seen.
Final: #14 Buffalo 71 - Syracuse 59.

In 2011 I saw Buffalo's coach coaching in high school down the street at Romulus High. Good for him and that program hope we can welcome them to the Mac on the 4th on National TV in the COnvo
Watched the highlights on ESPN digital.
All highlights were UB highlights.
Remember when we had a team that could win games like this 20+ years ago?
Excited to go to the January 4th game, even if we get blown out. It's always cool to see ranked teams in our gym. Last one was UMass back in 13/14. That was a fun game.

That was a fun game! We even took a small lead into halftime. Good student section that night (I was in the 1st or 2nd row).

I remember when we had a ranked team that played in our gym. In fact, it was our very own EMU team.

What's not to like other than we are turtle slow, cannot shoot, poorly coached, have no offensive movement and despite our size get out rebounded? We are after all the MAC West preseason championship selection.

On another note, the Buffalo program is starting to remind me of the old Toledo program. Too good at everything!
