The annual New York City gay pride parade is known for its eccentric themes and over the top, sexually charged floats but this year's headliner has left many in the gay community shaking their heads.
The organizers have employed a 10-year-old child as the 'face' of this year's festivities.
The young boy, Desmond Napoles says he is unashamedly a boy who likes to dress as a woman but says he is not transgender, rather, he identifies as a "drag kid."
On his social networks, "Desi" tells other young children they should not listen to their parents if they are told this is "sin" and advocates for kids to run away from home if they are not accepted.
Drag is an artform that comes from the theater. In ancient times women weren't allowed to act, so men and boys dressed as women to play female roles. That's where it came from. There's nothing sexual about it. These people don't identify as transgender. They are just doing it for the sole purpose of entertainment exactly like a clown. Last time I checked, it's not pedophilic for little kids to play dress up.

I'm not advocating for pedophilia. There is nothing sexual about smearing make up on your face whether you're a boy or a girl.
And maybe you should look into what a pride parade actually is before assuming it's just one giant gay orgy in the middle of a street. Get a clue dude.

Let me ask you this. If the kid was performing on the street with an flipped over hat asking for tips, would that make everyone that put a dollar in his hat a pedophile? When drag queens perform they make tips just like any other performer.
