It will be interesting to get a look at UCONN pre-conference tonight.
Heading into the new year healthy and Ollie-free!

At least no one will see us lose to Charlotte.
I think 3-0 is doable.

Why did USF agree to a road game against FIU?
Well I hope we beat Charlotte for the leagues sake. We've really looked bad in our two road games, but this game is winnable.
These are the type of games ECU and USF need to win to help raise the "floor" of our conference which will hopefully in time boost the conference overall.

USF and ECU are currently ranked 208 and 257 in KenPom.

No other team from a major conference is ranked below 182 (Cal) so we need to get our 3 bottom feeders on the rebound asap.

For what it's worth, Dooley appears to be going heavy on the JUCO route to microwave this thing.

Kenpom is worthless and the committee has never used it as a major factor or even a deciding one.

In NET USF is 120. Both Tulane and ECU are over 200. ECU will be on the edge of the top 200 if they win out. Tulane having a rough season from last year probably .
Dragons by 8

I remember in 1996? when Memphis (mingo johnson, Lorenzon Wright, etc.) lost to Drexel in the opening round of the ncaa. Should never have happened. UC went to the Elite 8 that year and UofL went to the S16. Marquette also made the tourney.
UC, Marquette, UofL, and Memphis were all ranked with Tulane (Gerald Honeycutt) just outside the rankings. They ended up in the NIT.

CUSA used to be really good.

Charlotte is number 311 according to another thread here. For the league's sake and I hope you don't lose to them.
3 for 4 for chit sure

Can someone please explain to me how to tell FAU and FIU apart???
ECU hasn’t won at Charlotte in my lifetime the last road win over Charlotte was in 1983. I was born in ‘84. This year will be the best chance ECU has had in a long time to get a road victory.
