Quarterback Daniel Richardson (5-11, 200) of Miami (Fla.) Carol City High School announced his verbal commitment to Central Michigan this morning via Twitter.
Rated a 3-star recruit, Richardson took an official visit to CMU this past weekend. He chose the Chippewas over reported offers from UAB, Toledo, Florida Atlantic and Florida International.
Richardson, who plans to enroll at CMU in January, becomes the 15th known commitment in the Chippewas 2019 recruiting class. He joins University of Tennessee and Houston graduate transfer QB Quinten Dormady as new quarterbacks in the CMU program for next season.
