Dayton is spending $78 million on renovation of their basketball arena.

Transform UD Arena

Wish we would do that........ :(
Dayton can because they dropped being in Div.1 football to Div.3
What topsy-turvy values.
Plus, dont they always host the first round in the ncaa tourney? Gotta make the arena look good when you host something like that every year

They hold 13,000 there and they sell out all the time.
It’s about a two hour drive for me. I think I’m gonna make the drive. If anyone else is going let me know. Always good to show people I'm exactly the same schtick in person as I am online.

Actually Dayton is D1 FCS football team in Pioneer Football League.
Teams in this football only conference do not award football scholarships.
They are not D3

Correct including Drake which plays non scholarship FB and came within one play of beating Iowa State three weeks ago.

Dayton is a basketball hotbed plus an repeating NCAA tournament host. That is part of the investment deal.
Pioneer Football League is admirably competitive without offering schollies.
Not going well in Dayton tonight...
Do our guys spend anytime in the weight room? Dayton guys are chiseled! We’re being out-muscled on both boards and picks. Guys like Printy are defensively bouncing off the men they’re guarding. Dugan’s getting pushed around underneath. Unless the shots start falling it’s going to be a long night!
I’m not surprised... after getting all giddy about the UM close loss we come out with no energy and getting muscled all over the floor.
Big loss... and back to reality.
Horrible loss. Bad effort.
Difference was too many turnovers on our part, Dayton shot much better at the FT line and Dayton dominated the paint.

Flowers looked great, but they were too strong for us. Way it is.
Hard to beat 60% FG shooting. Dayton was fired up after watching Michigan tape.

Yup. Dayton shot 80% and got more opportunities. Look at the stats on turnovers, that's pretty revealing as well.

They were better, stronger than us. That's the story of the ball game. Still, we showed some promise for our young team.

It's a shame we have no backfill for when Dugan graduates, except an incoming freshman. What happened to all the talls we were recruiting the last 3-4 seasons? The cupboard is bare.

....it isnt like we are going to miss him.

When the guy in the middle averages a double double (or close)
He is tough to replace & probably the focal point of the opponents defense.
Then When Seth gets double teamed it certainly helps the other four Broncos on the floor.
Flowers doesn’t get 31 without Seth playing.
