Is anyone making the drive up from Norfolk on Wednesday?
Thinking about it.
I will be there!

Seriously considering it. Been disappointed so many times in that building

We have a group of nine going, but we live in the 804. I also agree about how many times we have sucked at the Robins Center, lol. Hoping for a better outcome this time. ODU can't afford to lose to a down UR team that lose it's star player for the year. They have lose to Longwood, Hampton, and Oral Roberts this season, oof.
All true but the Spiders did beat Wake Forrest. Gotta bring our A game and none of this rally from 13 down business. I’m hopeful that the Syracuse game gives the squad the confidence to play like we are now on a mission.
We live in Richmond so my husband, my oldest, and I will be going to the game. I saw on their website that under “promotions” it says that you can get $5 tickets. When I went to purchase the tickets it came up regular price. Has anyone gotten the cheap tickets? I will prob call their ticket office tomorrow. Also, which section is the visitor section?
I'm new to the away game scene, and thinking about going to this one. How does one acquire tickets behind the ODU bench, like it was at Syracuse and how we do it at the Ted for away teams? Simply calling the odu ticket office, or do I have to be at a certain donation level?
Kenpom numbers before the games on 12/16: ODU 75, Richmond 188

ESPN's matchup predictor has UR winning it with a 54.4% chance... what kind of sorcery is this

I'm not the expert, but for the handful of away games that I've attended I've been more pleased with the seats I get via the home team's ticket office -- in which I ask the (usually) nice people on the other end of the line to give me the best available seats in the vicinity of the away bench.

The few times that I've gone with ODU allotment, I've found those seats to be less desirable.

I am not sure those tickets behind the bench are going to be available because most of those tickets are player allotment tickets and with the local kids on this team I doubt any are available. I am not 100% sure about that but with Wade, Stith, Godwin, Green, Dickens...... between all those families and friends I doubt any player tickets are to be had.
I am going by memory here but I believe our win at UR two years ago was the breakout game for BJ. We were at the game and he ignited the team that night. I remember hanging around the bench after the game and people were saying to Bryant Stith how exciting it must be to have him on the team and watch him develop his game over the next three years.
This is one place oddly I've never been... and I've been to Drexel and Hofstra. UR must be scared of us taking over their gym because since I started following about 15 years ago, this game has been on a weekday every single time.

I checked out their ticket site also and it shows $12 not $5 like the promotion says. Something is skewed. Let me know if you find out something. Maybe only at the door?

Yeah .... It took me a while to figure it out. You have to navigate to the single game tickets page then choose the promotions link from the menu.

Or use this link: https://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce...&caller=PR

Enter "cedarfield" then you'll be redirected to the cheaper tickets.

FYI....the 5$ tickets are at the top of the arena but there aren't any bad seats in that place.

I think the better seats were $12 instead of $22 with the promotion. I will try it out. Thanks!
I'm here already, so think I'll go. We won for the first time in a long time the last time I went so I'll chance it.

Section 7 is behind the visitors bench. On that side of the court the first four rows are 1-4. Row A is actually the 5th row. There are tickets for sale on StubHub.

The sideline sections are 5, 6, 7 on the bench side, 16, 17, 18 are across from the bench.

Beware of some of those discount tickets. They are usually either high in the corner or behind the basket.

At least they will sell you a ticket. The don't sell the VCU game to the general public, only to season ticket holder and package plan buyers. So a few of us from VCU just buy season tickets over there (they are half the price of what ours are) and sell the extras. I always break even on them, plus I go to a few games. As a bonus, they will sell season ticket holder up to 10 extras tickets to the VCU game. So we also get our extra 10 and sell them to other VCU fans.

Great game on Saturday. You guys are looking more and more legit. That game so reminded me of how you beat us in the second half. It shows what senior leadership can do. I'll be at the game. My tickets are behind the visitor's bench. I'll be wearing my VCU stuff cheering for ODU to win. Just can't bring myself to cheer for ur, conference member or not.
I only saw 1 ticket available on stubhub. Looks like the “cedarfield” promo code works on the ticket website. I don’t see any lower tickets available. Only like 1 seat here and there and I need 3. I think I’ll just get tickets behind section 7 even though they are higher up. Arena isn’t big so there isn’t a bad seat.
Haven’t bought my ticket, but I’ll be there. Some friends from the 757 are driving up for it. We’ll be in Section 5.
