What, moral victories don’t count as wins?

Moral victories took the last train to Cookeville.

We had our chances to win that game, Nike-sponsored refs and all, and should have but were done in by poor free-throw shooting and running the clock too far down too often.

I listened to the game and Crane didn’t argue the calls much. We were fouling on purpose at the end of the game which also contributed to the discrepancy. Also, the less talented team tends to foul more when they get beat on defense

Unfortunately we really did get screwed on that last foul under 10 seconds. Should've been a turnover in our favor.

It is what it is

Also congrats to Zack Bryant for his first career double double. 13pts 10 rebounds
Great game for both the Blazers and Tigers! The crowd was superb, even from the nosebleed seats (I was in that section). I left before they did overtime. 03-banghead This game was waaay better than the double-header last year. This game was for a better cause,Mike would be smiling (or cheering) right about now. 01-lucy
I like the series. But in order for it to remain interesting to either side, there needs to be a bit more balance. Though the last several games with Auburn have been close, we haven’t pulled it out in any of them. That has to change if this series is going to really take off.

It was a gritty performance by our team no doubt. I can only hope it’s a mark of things to come.

I agree 100%. Was Gene Bartowesque. Maybe I haven’t read all the thread but what was the issue between Ehsan and Pearl?
Impressed with the game plan and execution. Far exceeded my expectations. Best we've played this year and probably the best game Ehsan has coached.

All I know is that during a timeout, Pearl started waking toward the UAB bench and was yelling at Ehsan. After the game, when the two coaches shook hands, Ehsan said something to Pearl and Pearl never said a word back.

Maybe we can’t take up 7 straight hours of their radio. Have we ever played back to back games before?

Hopefully this will be the end of the series.

Screw Mike Slive. He is the reason for a lot of the problems today in college athletics.

The game could be streamed over the internet or one of the games moved to an alternate station which has been done before

I think cancer did, but great compassion there
The problems he had at the end of his life don't offset the stuff he did in years previously.

There will be a substitute band at the Alcorn game. Three guesses as to who their director will be.

Hopefully it wont be. We need this game. Hell we have so very few quality teams on our schedule every year we cant afford not to play this game. Also it benefits us if all the programs in the state are good. Yes i hate Bama and Auburn but its good for basketball in the state. Unfortunately for us once again by losing this game and Florida State no matter what happens now we only go to the big dance by winning the conference tournament in March. Such is life in a one bid league.

He did his job well whoever he worked for. He was a genius at putting together the Great Midwest Conference and saw UAB's value enough to make sure they were included.

When he was CUSA commissioner, no one fought harder for CUSA. Much better than Banowsky or the joke we have now.

When he became commissioner of the sec, he looked out after their interests, because that is what he was paid to do. It wasn’t his job then to try to benefit CUSA. It was Banowsky's job and he failed miserably
