Davenport was incredible today! Career day.

As for Jones, I hope he starts playing 30 minutes a game. He had some awesome passes.

Agreed...

Jones had a nice day...Needs to cut down on deciding it is his turn to shoot and let the game come to him. He seems really effective at breaking down the defense and seeing the floor.

Didn't really see many mistakes on defense but wasn't really watching him...According to Penny defense is what is keeping him off the floor.
Jones had his most complete game thus far, I think.

He is learning what it takes to play at this level and I love that Mike Miller has taken it upon himself to work closely with Jones until he gets it.
He’s clearly got the goods.
And Davenport, well, I’m really thankful for Davenport.
Freshman become sophomores.

And more experienced freshmen.

We will be a tough out in February and March.

Yea, he got lost several times but there are several players sending him to the right place/man. He is definitely getting better, feeling more comfortable on the floor.

Do we have anybody who plays good defense? Jones is going to be a very good player in due time.
Jones should most likely be getting ALO’s minutes
I agree with all the Jones talk. The kid has more potential than anyone I have seen this season. The more playing time he gets the better I expect him to get. I would love to see him get more minutes just for that reason. Especially over the next couple of games.
ALO isn’t there yet...Brewton should have his starting spot so we aren’t so small...maybe even Jones. He gets beat consistently on D, can’t shoot, is a good driving guard but small. I think he will be good, but he’s not there yet

Jones is one of about 3 that should be getting those minutes.
Jones reminds me of Billy Richmond.
Jones is really developing. Kudos to the staff and the work he's putting in. He seems very coachable in games - a few bad shots aside.

A-lo is getting there. I was one calling for Brewton to get his minutes a few games back, but watching Brewton, he's better off the bench. High energy and disruptive. But he would foul out and gets going too fast sometimes leading to to's. Better in shorter stretches.
KD had a great second half. He really opened things up for the whole team. A bit frustrated with some of his to's in the first half. He has to get stronger with the ball underneath and quit trying to draw fouls as he gets stripped. Second half he did that. He, too, seems very coachable.

Let's hope not, didn't he get kicked off the team?

Not knowing the plays. Comes in and shoots the first time he touches the ball usually. And missed. He tweeted he would be in NBA after next season. Needs to get priorities straight.

Jones makes a lot of mistakes and bad decisions and even when he isn't, he looks like he is about to do something bad. Having said that, he is really talented. If he is coachable and learns the game, he can be a really good player.
Jones shoots a lot of shots just inside the 3 point line for some reason. Pitino calls that the worst shot in basketball. I'd like to see him take a few dribbles to get closer or drive.

I thought the same thing. I surmise he is coached to select better shots.
