Coach Carey is one of the 7 named. Let’s go out and win this one to put an end to this topic.

Not even asking for a win at this point. Just get your team ready to compete and dont embarass the program. I'm not sure Huskie fans can take another humiliation

Yes, I'm nit-picking, but DAMN, even our future is bleak.

To get blown out against FSU in the Orange Bowl is one thing, but the Huskies were destroyed by Marshall 52-23 in the 2104 Boca Raton, and didn’t show up against Boise State in the 2015 Poinsettia – one of the worst bowl games in the history of bowl games.

I guess editors are expensive and a luxury these days.
Even if they had the year right, losing by 21 with a 7 point deficit going into 4th quarter, I certainly wouldn't call that getting blown out.

That game was not a blow out whatsoever. If anyone watched that game, they’d agree

+1000. It was late in the game JL's interception in FSU's red zone that dramatically changed the game. It was a psychological deflation that we couldn't recover. Until then, we were very much in the game.

I will bet you $1,000 Huskie nickels that the neither the author nor the editor of this hit piece watched either the Rose Bowl, the Marshall game, nor the Poinsettia Bowl.

I do agree though that Boise may have been the worst bowl game of all time. It looked like FBS v FCS

I think you mean FBS vs. Division III.

Good point. That single game did set NIU's program back in national view a little bit

Yep. And it was hyped by the media of a battle between major G5 programs. Some people on here say the game didnt matter and people will forget next year. 01-wingedeagle

Yea - if we had won, it would have mattered and would have been a feather in Carey's cap, but since we lost by 50, apparently the game didn't matter.
