I was going to call EMU SI to see our record vs. "Bye" (@home or on the road). 03-drunk

But instead I went to Detroit News to see how the MAC had done vs. "Bye". Instead I found home and away records...

Fascinating stats: The MAC is winning about 85 - 90% of their home games.

I assume the rest of the MAC has the same problem getting the higher mid-majors (or P5s) into their gyms.

Cal Irvine is going to be the exception. 9-2 so far against "Teams You've Heard Of or Who Are At Least Named After One of the Fifty States." Lost to Toledo though.

Finals aside, good time for a bye.
Murphy was complaining at the coaches luncheon about the travel issues with the front end of the schedule and I can sympathize. Now he has 26 days with 3 games and only a road trip to Kansas to get ready for the conference opener.

I'm less disturbed by the blowouts at Duke, TCU and Rutgers than I am about the close wins over Rochester and Drexel along with the worst loss of the season to U-D.

This team has a lot of talent and Rob has almost a month to figure out who starts, his substitution rotation and hopefully some kind of offensive strategy. I left the WMU home game loss last year shortly after the second half convinced the season was over. Then Murphy wins 9 out of the next 10 conference games. Thus I refuse to give up this season.
Jerry- did you try a 'Tridge' at the Alehouse?

Thanks for the update. How did you find out about the luncheon? I never know when those things are.
