The fans would. Not sure if Narduzzi would rehire him knowing he will be gone again in a year or two. He is on the cusp of becoming a head coach. I myself would bring him in with a co-offensive coordinator of his choice to train to run the show when he leaves.

He was at Maryland this year - even interim head coach for awhile. He's still there, but was passed over... so may be willing to come back to Pitt.

This puts a lot of pressure on the other other ACC schools - especially Miami, FSU and Virginia Tech - to step up recruiting. Attention Justin Fuente: "coaching them up", while necessary, is no longer sufficient. VT needs more Jimmies and Joes to run those X's and O's...
Pitt added Chris Beatty most recently of Maryland as the WR coach. Good recruiter and has developed several good WRs at previous stops. DJ Moore at Maryland, and Jared Abbrederis at Wisconsin. It looks like Narduzzi understood the lack of a competent offense was holding this team back and addressed it.
