I've looked through all the App Coaches' twitters (except one has his locked/private). Brown is the only one to follow anything Louisville so far.
Quote:When asked about the App State culture, and if a candidate would benefit from being familiar with the school, Gillin sees that as a plus but not a requirement.
Quote:Gillin said he won't put a target date on the hire. Although he would prefer to have a new coach in place before the football team leaves for winter break.

Sirignano too if you count strength coach. I feel confident Brown, Ponce, and Sirignano are gone to UofL.

Pissing off a rival fan base should not be your top priority lol. Who knows if Sloan is HC material.
I lean proven FCS coaches first.
Then coords with proven track records under HC's that are not calling the plays. OC's first then DC's. DC's seem to be more meat headed and fail more.

1. Mark Spier (not sexy from a W-L perspective, but he's done a good job at WCU where it's pretty hard to win).
2. Curt Cignetti (great turn-around at Elon, made the playoffs 2 straight years, Nick Saban understudy)
3. Brian Bohannon (heads would explode in Statesboro)
4. Nate Woody (retain as much as the old staff as you can, I think you're guaranteed one more really good season, but long term it's a risk)

Elliot would be awesome.
I see several people talking about bringing in a known coach and talking about keeping your coordinators?
Why would they stay if Satterfield offers them a job at Louisville? And if he doesn't, why doesn't he want them?

Are you guys worried about losing any potential early signees if yall don't get someone named soon?
