Sounds Great to Me
More than fine with the hire...
That's great! I think he'll get Louisville turned around in short order.

Is there any report of his compensation package. I'm curious if he got $2.5 mil average a year or more like $3.5 mil average or more?
Congratulations Card fans. Glad you guys got your man. Very solid hire. Hes a good coach.
Looking forward to the game next year...He looks like a great hire.

Answered in another thread, but it's right around $3.25m a year.

6 years @ $3.25 million per year. $1.65 million base & a $5 million buyout.

I was impressed with his press conference. Fans are worried about his ability to recruit but I don’t think that will be a problem. He already has established ties in crucial areas in the southeast & he has already reached out to local high school coaches. He also expressed a desire to reach into Ohio. I can see some Dabo & Mack in him but I unfortunately also see some Kragthorp to. His first big steps will be his staff & recruiting, current & future players. His charisma is a much needed change from Bobby.

We almost bought their house in Boone several years back and he has experience with reigning in some player excesses that developed toward the end of Jerry Moore's time. Upper level administrators did not speak badly about him.

$3.25m a year with bonus and incentives is correct. 04-cheers
