I think its a good hire... all the penalties we had the past few years made watching a drag, dunno what happened to Bobby but it completely exploded in epic fashion

We have Scott Satterfield and Coach Mack. The future of Louisville basketball and football are solid again. I am happy! 07-coffee3

You should be, great hires on both counts.
Louisville's future is indeed on solid ground.04-cheers
I’m surprised that NC & GT didn’t make a push for Satterfield., he seems like a natural fit for both. I think this hire will amp up our recruiting throughout the Carolinas & Georgia. Heck, maybe even our RB’s will be able to run the ball! Still, I can see Cunningham flourishing in his system.

“There was other schools out there. This is the job I wanted,” Satterfield said. “I wanted to be here because of the success that this program has had. … You want somebody to believe in you, and (Tyra) did. He’s believing in me. I think that’s huge.”

Brown & Ponce are expected to follow Satterfield to Louisville.

Assistant coaches Bryan Brown and Frank Ponce of Appalachian State are expected to join the Louisville football coaching staff, multiple people with knowledge of the move told the Journal on Wednesday.

The two will become the initial hires made by Scott Satterfield, the six-year Mountaineers coach who was introduced Tuesday as the next head coach of the Cardinals program.

It’s unclear what roles they will hold with the Cardinals.

Louisville is going to be a force in the Atlantic and give Clemson a run for their money.

This is the best group of 4* to ever come out of Louisville & our last staff wouldn’t recruit any of them. Hopefully coach Satterfield isn”t to late to convince a few to stay home. The more I learn about & hear from coach Satterfield the more excited I get about this hire.
