4 of 21 at the line tonight. I bet an elementary school basketball team can do better than that.

I don't care how Darrell does it, but I feel as if a message needs to be made to this team. Yes they're young, but they'll learn better through my idea and experience.

17 missed free throws = 17 laps around the Jack. After that every player is gonna work on their free throw shooting for the rest of practice. For every one missed, that's 5 pushups.
I know that sounds harsh but as a high school athlete that has once ran 17 times (in 30 minutes) up the bleachers (30 in all) of the tall stands of Quigley-Cox stadium as result of lack of team effort, this is much needed for this team. It will bring a message to get better now or lose.
I am normally a fan of positive coaching but sometimes discipline is needed to get the ship right.
Except for some big men, who just don't have the shooting touch, free throw shooting is 90% mental. Not sure running bleachers cures it. But, I'd be willing to try anything at this point.
90% Mental? Then we need a hypnotherapist. They are 100% mental.
That crappy freethrow shooting plus a few extra turnovers cost us the game. 19% at the line. Did we break a record?
19%...!!! Was this ON PURPOSE???

Not sure about the 19%. I was thinking the 13 missed free throws in a row might well be a record, but I don't know who'd be counting.
If a Wimp Sanderson team shot 4 of 21 at the line, Wimp would be in jail and at least one of his players would be in in the hospital right now.
