Reply to Jcannon21..... I still believe MG is a better all around QB than Peters. I think he would’ve put up equal or better numbers if healthy with equal or better W/L results. Does anyone here think overall results would be worse with Guadagni at QB???? I think we might even be +1 W. He will come back for a strong senior season while Bradley still grows. Bradley has a shot to be a 3 yr starter beginning in 2020. Peters will continue to provide strong relief.
Who knows... Carter B could come in and e a 4 yr starter but I do not see it yet.

I think and said, the coaches should have reigned in his running from the get-go and let him concentrate on running the offense, or just taking the loss in yardage. He doesn't have a strong arm but he seemed reasonable accurate and protected the ball. We have receivers VERY good at yardage after catch. We'd have been fine without a downfield program for a bit, until he learned better how to read defenses and the game slowed down a bit for him. And he'd have more likely stayed healthy.
In the not very long run, we'd have had a much better offense. A more controlled offense giving defense time to make adjustments. I speculate the team would have had a few more wins and be much better positioned for next year. Once he was better at reading defenses, running is a safer option.
I too believe Mitch is a better QB and does have a different skill set than Peters with his ability to run. Let's face it, a lot of the times he ran it's because he was running for his life and that's not a knock on our OL. Did I read where Mitch is coming back for the Bowl Game?

I am betting on Carter Bradley I would Mitch to receiver where he may have a football Future beyond college not saying this will happen just what I think. Mitch tucks and runs too much
Whoever shows the most in Spring and Fall practice will start. Time tested process for picking the best QB.
