Figured it would be him after Weldon got hurt.
How many years does Thrasher have left? The comments regarding the kicking game are concerning. JJ was automatic.

What happened to Garrett Taylor that we signed from Middle Tennessee?

Chance has 3 years left of eligibility
He graduated from coastal and has three years left? I thought he only had one.

Yes, He red shirted then was set to start the following year and had to have Thoracic outlet surgery. And missed that year. Then earned starting position and tore MCL on first play. So he was given a 3rd year of eligibility.

Chance has 3 years left of eligibility

I think proud dad may possess some inside knowledge here.
Proud Dad has explained Chance's eligibility more than once in this thread. I believe Chance may be our best chance to have a QB that can help this team have a successful year.

Here's a link to the "Thrasher thread" from the Coastal Carolina football forum with some insightful entries.

From that thread sounds like two years if he gets a medical redshirt waiver.
The roster shows Thrasher as a senior. How does he have three years left?

I'm not sure, but I believe he had one redshirt year and he was injured two other years. If he can get a medical waiver for each of those two injury years, he will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Chance has been granted 2 years of medical hardship. On top of his redshirt season. Since he was to be the starter Then the surgery. And the second year becoming a starter and tearing mcl on 1st play.
It’s pretty rare to get two medical hardship years. But I guess if he can do it, good for us.
Depth chart was released today and Lewis/Mitchell are the backups. Thought Riddell would at least be in the top 3 quarterbacks.

I am guessing they are redshirting him.
Sanders doesn't want to play Riddell this year. Redshirt, learn the playbook, hit the weights and have four years to play.
Logan Marchi is at Sacred Heart now, and is being blown out by Maine 42-7.
