Former MU stars ready to head to NFL camps

NFL pre-training camp rosters are loaded with players from area colleges.

Marshall has 18 of its former players on NFL preseason rosters provided by team Web sites and http://www.NFL.com. Ohio State leads are schools with 46 players followed by West Virginia with 26 and Kentucky with 19.

Some teams begin training camp July 27, with others joining in over the following days.

Preseason games begin Aug. 9 when the Denver Broncos and the Washington Redskins meet in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

Regular-season games begin Sept. 9.

The Super Bowl is Feb. 6, 2005 in Jacksonville.
