Time for a win. Wonder if Irvin will go man-to-man this game without the need to ride the starters.
I haven’t been overly impressed with Strickland so far. I was glad to see Bell in the lineup tonight.. he’s a streaky shooter. Their freshman PG Oliver hasn’t really played much. He looked lost at IU. I was hoping Dixon would be back, but he’s still suffering from an injury.
Irvin pretty much has to rely on Harris, Shaw, and Jacob. If Bowles can consistently step it up, and Bell/Strickland could get in a groove they’ll compete.
Looking forward to see how he Irvin increases the depth over the years.
KenPom has CSU winning by five (70-65). This is the only predicted victory for the Cougars over a DI school. Hopefully, CSU will win tonight and then go on and win a few more games as the season progresses.
