It sucked that he missed that FT, but the REAL PRESSURE was on the 2nd one and he nailed it.
make free throws and this game would have been over in regulation

i wondered why penny was playing so many players in the first half, he must
have known it would be a 2 overtime game

dance team had on new white skirts, which must have been washed
in hot water, then kept riding up all game (thankfully they were wearing thongs)

That was a tough injury. He still looks a half step slower to me.

As my gas we all love Martin, he gets way to many minutes, I see a lot of last year, when we played better when he was out. I’m not gonna be liked for saying this but the he clogs the offense and is so out of position on defense. But he is a senior captain, so I guess I get it.

not sure what you guys expect.

The guy had 5 assists and 20 points...The guy everyone is slobbing over had 22 points and took the same number of shots but had 0 assists.
Davenport needs to step it up. Big free throw to save the game but he's way too loose with the ball hoping to get bailed out with a whistle. Every time he starts a dribble down the baseline he dribbles it's off his foot or looses the ball

He needed to get stronger in the offseason but at this point he is who he is
I thought lomax was great as well. Big time plays on both ends. Needs to get in the gym and shoot the hell out of it, playing opposite Martin and harris he will get plenty of wife open looks. These guys are freshmen. I had D Washington's face in my head as soon as harris was fouled. These guys are dogs 3 games in I'm a believer. We can make the tournament this year and the arrow only points up from there

They are sports fans who expect perfection, as they imagine it, since it doesn't exist. lmao

Also, when we need some one to drive in there and get layups and/or get fouled it's Martin.

Kyvon is a bit of a strange player, he's super athletic but not fluid. I think that comes from picking up basketball later than most.

His ball handling (especially) and decision-making is not spot on, but he brings so much to the table with all the things he CAN do. He can shoot the 3 and he'll likely lead the team in rebounding.

Plus, I wouldn't say he's a great defender but he's super versatile, he can switch out on smaller guards and not get outquicked due to his athleticism and length, but he still has the size to compete down low.

These guys don't always play smart. They don't always shoot well.

But they always play hard and with a lot of heart. They are very fun to watch.
As my gas?

He got a good amount of those stats in OT. Also, it's more than the box score - he made several bad decisions and was a ball stopper for most of the game.

I was thinking about DWash the whole time...

Yep, I am sure most of us were...

It crossed my mind. I am very happy for Tyler.

Tyler Harris was clutch..DWash not so much

And DWash was the McD all American much more heralded out of HS. But his was also to get to the tournament.

I love the fact Penny is trying to instill in them the we don’t lose home games in the culture. We won’t beat Tennessee but the guys should feel bad about it.
We covered the spread, but it took awhile. 03-wink

Without Darius, there would have been no game with Louisville because we would have lost early in Conference Tourney and the Louisville game would not have been close.

Without Darius, it would been much more difficult to make the Elite 8 the next year.
Yale played a great game. They hit several big shots and were pretty clutch themselves. Great win by the Tigers tonight. Sowed a lot of toughness and they definitely have a ton of heart. We're 3 games in with a lot of freshman. This season will be a lot of fun. May have some downs, but overall it'll be enjoyable to watch the team grow and develop as the season goes on.

I noticed the skirts but I missed the thongs? Dammit
Does anyone know the official announced attendance? The three sites I checked using my iPhone show “0”.

From my vantage point, I figure actual attendance was around 12K after accounting for the usual late arrivals.
