Quote:Migrants travelling in a caravan from Central America were abused and had rocks thrown at them in a neighborhood in Tijuana as they reached the Mexican border.

A small group of residents in an upscale Tijuana neighborhood near the Mexican border confronted caravan migrants late on Wednesday, throwing stones and telling them to go back to their home countries.

'Get out of here,' around 20 people shouted at a camp of Hondurans near the border. 'We want you to return to your country. You are not welcome'.

We need to start a GoFundMe to send the Tijuanans a couple cases of these:

Did they fire back?
I grew up in Tijuana. I moved back to the U.S in my teens. I live in Chula Vista, Ca which is 5 miles down the San Ysidro border. I travel to Tijuana at least once a week. My mother retired over there. So, I know Tijuana and how people over there think. Tijuana has upscale neighborhoods. Playas de Tijuana is one of them. It's located by the division on the beach close to Imperial Beach. Tijuana is not a big city to absorb the thousands of immigrants are expected to arrive. On top of that all the people who gets deported and stay in Tijuana. People who are trying to cross the border come all the time here. Because is safe, weather, etc. Citizens of Tijuana are scare of the thousands of people are expected to come. They don't like Central Americans because they are know to be problematic people and it could bring more criminal activity. Like robbery, assault, etc. If they don't get processes for asylum, guess who will be absorbing them? Tijuana.

That was something I always thought fascinating from my time in the restaurant industry. The Mexicans and Guatemalans absolutely hated each other. The mexicans always called the Guatemalans tiny little gang bangers(Guatemalans are tiny little people if you have never met one) and they would say the mexicans are lazy. Taught me then racial hate isn't a white or even American thing. Hate is international

A little 4'9 drunk guatemalan totaled my parked truck in the middle of the night and hid like hobbit in the shrubs from the cops.
