Speaking of La Tech, I'm the most surprised by their start.
You guys have looked really strong so far, and if you're saying one of your best players isn't even there, I'm actually quite nervous. I think just by going what we know so far, La Tech is making the biggest jump to the top of the standings.

Yes, last year certainly we probably could have had four of our best teams in the tournament. I think Westerns run in the NIT proof they belonged. We know ODU last year was very strong. Also, Marshall and MTSU. So far this year, 2018 is looking like it may be even better. Still early, but encouraging.
I think with continued OOC success, combined with the new league scheduling, and we're going to see some really strong candidates.

Agreed. Getting in to the Top 6 would be huge and would almost guarantee a second bid!

I’m happy with the current results, but remember that it’s only been one week. A long season to go, and honestly, a long OOC season to go before January. Need to relax and take it one game at a time. No one knows how good anyone is just yet. With that said, always much better to win than to lose. Let’s keep it going!

We're currently eating their lunch. And I think the American is a good conference, and a really good measuring stick for us.
Again like others have said, it's very early. But there's a pulse here. For Marshall, our out of conference schedule gets very difficult in December.
CUSA is 22-6 to start the season. Best i can remember.
