So, what you're saying is this is Owl-specific?
No what he's saying unless a fan of FAU or Western starts the thread...no one else cares. Just like the Rice/Tech game. Since the 2 or 3 FAU fans still on the board were at the game or watching it and away from this board....

there was no thread because why would a non FAU fan care

Western fans were at the basketball game or watching it...I was probably the only one stupid enough to be at the basketball game watching on my phone....

wishing I was in BOCA
Watched the 1st half of football game. It’s sad, but I turned it off and could have cared less about the 2nd half. Our program is bad... really bad.
No because the thread could’ve been written before the game was even played.

WKU keeps it close in the first half. Shows signs of life on offense. Goes for it on fourth and short in own territory and doesn’t get it. Special teams blunder.

Comes out in second half flat. Defense starts getting gashed. FAU pulls away for big win.

Rinse and repeat for next week.

Well we play UTEP next week. They are 1-9. So we'll probably lose that one in the last minute. Or with no time left on the clock.
We looked almost as dominant as against FIU. But, once again, blew one trip to the red zone by missing a chip-shot FG (again), blew another trip to the red zone with a penalty (made a FG), a penalty wiped a TD run on yet another trip to the red zone, an interception thrown in the red zone. We muffed a catch on punt return. Penalties, penalties, penalties. This way we won't beat UNT.
Honestly didn't think this was a bowl caliber team but now we just need one of two. Unless you win conference USA , it really doesn't mean much if you are 6-6 or 9-3. We might get a better bowl opponent and not play on our home field this year instead of playing Akron at home while sweeping the conference
