Will split threads if it comes to it.

GT is a giant unknown with no objective reason to believe. They do at least look good against Lamar tonight though.
It looks like KK is going to have the Pack running, running, running this year. And it appears that one player (Steele) has figured out that he isn't going to get much playing time this year and will probably transfer. He went to four different high schools and de-committed once before making it to Raleigh so I guess it isn't a shocker.
I’ll take two wins in the first two games for Pitt regardless of the competition.
ACC is 25-0 to start the year.
We must be in bizarro world, because now it's VT fans instead of UVA fans who are glad basketball season has finally arrived.

SAVE US BUZZKETBALL!
The ACC is 27-0 now with 4 games on the schedule tonight. GT is at Tennessee so that looks like it could be our first loss of the season. Go GT!

I figured Notre Dame would be bad in ACC play, but they might just be bad overall. Radford is a solid team coming off their tourney appearance, but still... you should be able to beat them at home.

And yes, I know VT lost to Radford at home in 2014. This is someone speaking from experience!
Syracuse missed Frank Howard last night. Danny Hurley already has his first signature win at UConn...

Also, the Hokies looked good in cruising to a win over Northeastern today. They'll face the winner of Purdue/Davidson in the final of the Charleston Classic.

Yeah, Frank Howard might have been the difference. I cant believe Uconn, which was #298 last season in 3 point shooting made like 14 or 15 threes. Got to give them credit even though I already dont like their coach. He was acting like a chimpanzee the way he was running up and down the sidelines and all onto the court. The refs never called it or even warned him. I have never seen a coach act like that. Even Buzz Williams doesnt act like that. I would take his behavior any day over the Uconn coach.
I don’t think Syracuse fans expected an 0-2 weekend in NYC but that’s what happened, and neither loss was particularly close. Howard was out so I’m not sure you draw too many conclusions, other than a poor start to the season resume.

Rebuilding year.

ND lost Bonzie Colson, Matt Farrell and Martinas Geben to graduation.

Mike Brey is playing a lot of true freshmen. Growing pains.

No. Nor did we think we would be only counting on the fb team to give us something to cheer about during basketball season.
Great win for the Hokies over Purdue to cap off the Charleston Classic. Nickeil Alexander-Walker showed up big time, winning tournament MVP.

Can't wait to see what this team does during ACC play, as I think they have an opportunity to make some noise.
Pitt is 6-0 with a decent win over Saint Louis today. It looks like they will be much better this year with Capel.
So Duke is human. But they'll still be awfully hard to beat in conference play.

Gonzaga was very impressive.
Glade to be passed that godawful officiating in Brooklyn!

Syracuse already prepping for entry to the NCAA as a bubble team that makes a deep run.

Bubble? I'm just hoping for a winning season. Team is a mess. Time for Jim to do the right thing and retire. I don't want a Bobby Bowden situation.

I don't follow it closely enough to disagree with your overall impression of the program. As an outsider though, no one is counting Syracuse out. It seems nearly every season they are a team of high debate on whether they deserve a bid, but you don't want to play them if they make it in.
