Wrong. their season opener, their homecourt. their Philly home cooking. all the close calls go to SJ. We're 1-1.

I could see that outcome if we get our team FG% up. Hopefully they come out cold and our warm up game gets us ready to go from the start. It'll be a good W if we get it.
I think getting a win under our belt gives us an advantage. Have already got a chance to work out kinks
They are a good team. I think they will be a favorite in the game. I believe they are a team that is better than what Blue Ribbon had them (4th), but BR did mention they expect them to compete for the AAC title.

This is likely going to be a defensive battle. If I had to pick, I think they have the edge being at home.

That'd be quite an accomplishment
While I realize this game could be difficult, it is the type of game we will have to win if we want to compete for a bid. St. Joe's is likely a first 4/NIT bubble team. We need this one on the road.

I think you hit the nail on the head. This is the type of game during the Jones era that we haven't won and need to. This would be quality road win and certainly pay dividends with all the metrics.

The fact that it's their home opener will make it tough but our first game jitters should be gone while they may still be working through some of that. This would be a huge win for us this season.

Yep. Beats playing a ton of MEAC teams OOC. At least we have a theoretical shot at an at-large bid this year if we take care of business. Our chance at a 2018 bid was shot in June 2017 when the schedule came out.
You guys are quick after a win!

I feel like we have a size advantage on these guys.
Looks like they are inexperienced and lack depth in the backcourt. After Clover and Kimble, they have a junior that played in only 4 games last year, 2 walk-ons, a freshman, and a grad transfer. If we can get Clover or Kimble into foul trouble, we can exploit this. Also our offense needs to be slinging the ball all over the perimeter and wear them down so they have nothing left in the tank down the stretch.
Predicting a win.
I've had my fill of watching losers in blue so far this fall

Go forth and smack em
A Philly team... enough said !! This will be strong early test for the Monarchs.
Is this the team with the stupid bird mascot that has to flap all game long

Yes! The same one that Big Blue tripped and the legendary mascot fight ensued. That was awesome.
