I know people hate Duke, but I love watching Zion. And wouldn't mind seeing Duke go into the final 4 to continue watching him.

LOL, they are complete garbage, I can't believe someone with your high standards and discerning taste would be impressed with them. But I'm happy for Coach Huggs!
If Duke could even shoot averagely, they would be unstoppable. They might be the worst 3 point shooting team in the tournament field.

I thought they'd get to the Sweet 16 at best without Zion, but he is so good, that he makes them NC good. I don't know that they get there since they are such a poor shooting team from 3.

I can't figure out the hype with Cam Reddish. He was actually rated higher than Zion and is pretty much considered a lock for 1st round pick. He just looks overwhelmingly unimpressive out there.

I have to think Indiana is done. They've had great wins but their conference and overall records are awful and a first game loss in the B10 tournament is a setback.

Wondering if the X vs. Creighton might be an NCAA elimination game as well?

Most definitely. Starting to wonder if Xavier holds if they only need one more.

Shouldn't be. The Big East is terrible. Their highest rated team in the NET is 25 (only 2 higher than UC) and their third highest is Crieghton at 54. There are five American teams higher than that.

Should probably be a 2 bid conference.

It won’t matter. X will win the tourney

and get bolden and jarron's cousin

I just checked the Houston-UConn score.

Houston has outscored UConn 34-11 in the second half and it is 73-36.

Houston isn't getting any respect. They beat LSU and both losses are very close to good teams, yet they are talking about being a 3 seed. I think they are pretty motivated to dominate the AAC tourney and prove they deserve better.

I do think the committee might value them and their Net of 4 more than the bracketologists, so I think they get a 2 seed (Though I would argue they deserve a 1). They are legit and have everything you need to advance in March (Great guards, play great defense and can rebound).

I think they'll be a 2 seed as well. I'd be very surprised by a 3 seed. I don't think the commtitee will make them a 1, but they've got a sneakily good 1 seed argument.

Houston is #4 NET. They are 5-2 in Q1 games, 14-2 Q/Q2. Other poential 1 seed teams Include:
Virginia #1 NET, 12-2Q1, 17-2 Q1/Q2 (unimpeachable resume)
Gonzaga #2 NET, 4-3Q1, 10-3Q1/Q2
Duke #3 NET, 9-4 Q1, 15-5 Q1/Q2
UK #5 NET, 10-4Q1, 15-5Q1/Q2
TN #6 NET, 7-4Q1, 13-4Q1/Q2
UNC #7 NET, 10-5 Q1, 17-5 Q1/Q2
LSU #14 NET, 9-2 Q1, 16-5 Q1/Q2 (Lost to Houston)
What kind of job would Mick do without 4 starters from the beginning of the year?

Huggs beat the B12 Champs. No excuses.

The man can coach.

He's a great coach. Always has been, always will be.

Houston absolutely should be a 2 seed IMO.
Houston is a buzzsaw right now. Hopefully they can carry the rest of the leagues water for us in the big tournament.
Houston or Gonzaga? I think Gonzaga may be a better overall team but Houston has the better resume. Houston is playing better right now.
should local sports bar have the game?
Team sheets have been revised to divide up the top two quad into four groups. I believe this is going kill the selection and seeding for non-power teams. UC is now 0-4 in that top group but 9-1 in the next two, which is still really good. Basically that says UC struggles against elite competition but has played really well against mid level NCAA tournament teams and NIT level competition.

3 seed.
Only 4 teams in Top 50 have worse SOS than Houston (94) and they're really all in the same territory. Wofford (107), Nevada (110), VCU (111), Utah State (158).

They're going to be a nightmare for any 2 seed in the tournament though. I wouldn't want to play them but their resume doesn't stack up as well because of the conference.

One thing I'll add: The older I get the more I realize that beating teams like UConn is important. However, beating them convincingly like they did today means something.
