Mari Hulman George the matriarch of the Hulman George Family and the chairman emeritus of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, has died at the age of 83.
Was the only child of Tony Hulman. Tony Hulman purchase the IMS right after the end of WW2 and brought the track back to life after all racing was cancelled in US due to war.
Became chairperson of the board for IMS in 1988 after her mother's health began to fail.
