In the game thread, I wondered if we had ever had 2 shutouts in the same season. When I looked back, I realized how rare shutouts are...making the 3 this year even more impressive.

I may have missed some, but glancing over the records, here are all of our previous shutout...TOTAL

9/5/92: 28-0 vs. Millsaps
10/7/95: 28-0 vs. Wofford
10/5/96: 24-0 vs. Western Kentucky
10/2/99: 47-0 vs. La. Monroe
9/15/07: 22-0 vs. Alcorn State
11/29/08: 15-0 @ UCF

That is incredible. And we are doing this in a time where offenses are scoring as much as ever.

Especially shocking as good as the Steel Shield defense was. You can argue those teams currently in the AAC were better competition, but three shutouts is big in any league
