When was the last official update on when construction would actually begin??? The longer nothing happens, I get the deja vu feeling from every other time the city was going to build a new stadium. If they want to be ready by 2021 season, they need to make something happen. You would think they would want the stadium for the World Games, that’s the summer of 2021. So we have 2.5 years, have they even started moving dirt???

They just got the funding sorted away in August. The bonds have been sold and $300 million is sitting in the bank account of the BJCC. They couldn't hire a design firm until that was done, and they are in the process of selecting one now. They can't snap their fingers and make it happen immediately, things take time.

And yes, they've started moving dirt, utility relocation started as soon as every funding entity was fully committed, before the bonds were even sold.

Curious who this is going out to. I'm not a season ticket holder since I don't live in Birmingham anymore but I did donate to bring back the program and haven't seen this email yet.

I got it yesterday evening. I'm a season ticket holder, but not a blazer booster member so i'm assuming season ticket holders got them?

i got it, so its not limited to locals. i think its probably going to season ticket holders

Yup, I got one yesterday. I told them to give my Blazer Reward points to Attalla.

Blazer Boosters and season ticket holders are getting it... basically anyone who is accruing points in the new loyalty system.

Good news is that the link was shared to a public message board so all the results are going to be skewed now lol.

Based on those survey questions, it looks like we could get some decent amenities upgrades.

Taking this survey, I realized I am the bottom 1% of paying sports fans. I want a cheap ticket with a little bit of space to breathe.

That's what I get for majoring in communications.

When I click on the survey site, all I get is a 404 error response. What kind of questions / choices are on the survey?
