I'm watching the Cincinnati Temple game right now. I have cut the cord and am watching through my Roku over PlayStation Vue TV service. How does the Nielsen ratings system know I'm watching the game?

It’s actually a lot easier to track viewership via streaming. ESPN can easily tell how many people are streaming the game. They need to know for bandwidth purposes I believe. Now it’s probably harder for them to get permission and figure out where it’s being streamed, but it’s certainly possible.
