Gonna miss UCF . Even in losing the last 2 years; 3 times , sad to see the ucf game leave our conference schedule for next to years. Since we are probably in the aac for years to come here is what I would hope for. Instead of expanding, I’d like to see the AAC go to 10. ( yes Tulane and Tulsa; regardless if good or not create a d2 game day atmosphere and excitement) the big 12 is neat in a way because they play everybody every year. I would enjoy the same. I would like ucf every year, Cincinnati every year, I love to play south Florida every year. I think the temple games would be great.might help recruiting and more consistent attendance. I could see some good rivalries develop. I know the conference championship ,would always be a rematch, but hey, I enjoyed the rematch with ucf last year, most everyone did. To me the schedule, although just slightly different, would somehow seem better. As for the other 2; they would be fine in CUSA or sun belt, those schools play good ball with game day crowds around 10 thousand. To me it’s a win win. I’m gonna miss UCF
No.

AAC's current membership is ideal as is. Next.

You know, this actually sounds pretty good. Better yet, drop Tulane, Tulsa, and ECU...add BoiseSt, BYU, and SDSt, and truly become P6 caliber in football & basketball. Tulane & Tulsa are small schools with small followings that dont move the TV needle. ECU has a great fanbase and solid program, but is difficult to get to and always weak in basketball. Sadly, Power Conference status is ALL that matters in the long run. And I dont see how THIS conference could be denied:
Boise St
BYU
Cincy
Houston
Memphis
Navy (Wich St in ?)
SDSt
SMU
Temple
UConn
UCF
USF
Adding Army & Air Force for football only could be good too, for political clout - are the powers-that-be gonna deny Army, Navy, and AF? Maybe, also bring in UNLV for SMU. New Raiders stadium, good basketball program, big metro area (lots of TVs...see Rutgers) great destination for visiting fanbases.
Just thinking aloud...but we need to be strongly considering our next moves.
Word on the street they r ACC bound followed by USF
it pays to play a tough OOC SCHEDULE
This is horrible....

"One of the worst programs a few years ago has a few good seasons, none resulting in winning the conference, and they want to start kicking teams out of the conference"

signed,
pretty much everyone in the world

I’ll also not miss playing UCF + the AAC referees in Memphis.

Play the game right and beat 'em. The refs can only influence so much.

UCF doesn't play a tough OOC.
