10/5/2018 - Radio Interview on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM (11:23 mark)

Probably the best local interview of Coach Majerle I've heard in a while. Majority of it is GCU talk. Not a lot of NBA/Suns/history stuff., which is usually the case.
10/1/2018 - Aaron Torres Sports Podcast (33:50 mark)

Aaron Torres is very familiar with GCU, having written a great article on the Lopes in 2016. This interview, however, felt more like an introduction of Majerle & GCU to Torres' national audience. As a result, there isn't a whole lot of new or valuable information here for GCU fans and/or knowledgeable WAC fans.
10/10/2018 - 2018 WAC Basketball Preview Press Conference (1:19:50 mark).

Typical WAC Preview interview. Not sure there was much new information that came out of this.
10/19/2018 - Dox n Jox: Episode #38 (12:30 mark).

A little season preview on the weekly sports medicine radio/podcast that Michael Potter (aka "Ferris") does with Dr. Dan Munton out of Texas. It's nice to hear Majerle interviewed by someone who actually knows Lopes basketball, and Potter asks solid questions that moved him mostly away from the coach speak and Standard GCU talking points we usually get when Majerle does national interviews.

Thanks for this! Enjoyed the interview. Hope what Dan said about Roberts Blumbergs actually shows itself on the court.

To be honest, I think Blumbergs actually has a broader skillset than Lever. But as incoming freshmen, the D1 stage was just too big for Blumberg. Lever was able to make his transition quicker because "he knows who he is" (a phrase Chris Jans likes to use to describe NMSU's new center Ivan Aurrecoechea.) Meaning he knows his strengths and tries to play to those exclusively.

From day one, Lever played to his strengths and didn't try to do things that were outside his skill set. "He knows who he is".

Blumbergs, on the other hand, was trying to find his game all season; and, where he fit into Majerle's system. He was not mentally ready to make the D1 jump a year ago. Looking forward, I still don't think Blumbergs will start this season. But that is mainly because of the addition of Michael Finke. Finke is just a more mature player right now. But I think WAC fans will see a more rounded, more confident version of Blumbergs this season. He will have a better understanding of his strengths and who he is as a Sophomore. Frankly, "if" both Lever and Blumbergs remain at GCU through their Senior season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Blumbergs' draft stock actually surpass Lever's. I think Blumbergs has that much upside.
10/23/2018 - The Dan Majerle Show: 2018-19 Episode 1

Originally aired on Fox Sports AZ. Barry & Majerle with a little Coach Powell, television broadcast team, and behind the scenes of Midnight Madness mixed in, too.
10/30/2018 - The Morning Fanatics with Crespin & Bauer

Coach Majerle resumed his weekly radio interviews on 1580 The Fanatic this morning. Nothing ground-breaking here, but looking forward with optimism to the season ahead.
10/31/2018 - The Brad Cesmat Show (27:02 mark)

Cesmat is generally dialed in when it comes to the Lopes. Has Majerle do a run through on some of the individuals filling out the roster. Nothing really new in this one.
11/13/2018 - Fouhy on the Fanatic

GCU men's head basketball coach Dan Majerle joined the show to discuss the teams victory on Monday night (76-59 win over Jacksonville on 11/12) and how recruiting is going.
11/6/2018 - Bickley & Marotta on Arizona Sports 98.7

Coach Majerle previews GCU's upcoming season before the South Dakota State game (74-79 loss as SDSU on 11/6).
11/27/2018 - Monty in the Morning on 1580 the Fanatic

Honestly the best interview of Coach Majerle I have heard in a while, and the most composed and "thoughtful" I have heard him during an interview. Not sure how else to say it, other than this sounded like a more grounded, mature version of Coach Majerle. A good friend suggested he sounded "like a professional coach." Not that he hasn't been that, but I can get down with this mellower version of Majerle.
11/29/2018 - The Dan Majerle Show: 2018-19 Episode 3

Originally aired on Fox Sports AZ. This episode includes Coach Majerle providing a recap of the Wooden Legacy Classic, an interview with Tim Finke, a "Lopes in the Pros" spotlight with Dewayne Russell, and a little bonus with Coach Schellas Hyndman reviewing the GCU MSOC season.
12/4/2018 - Monty in the Morning on 1580 the Fanatic

GCU Lopes Coach Dan Majerle joins Monty in the Morning on 1580 The Fanatic in Phoenix to discuss the Lopes big win over Boise State, and look forward to the Jerry Colangelo Classic game against Nevada.
12/12/2018 - The Dan Majerle Show: 2018-19 Episode 4

Originally aired on Fox Sports AZ. On this episode of the Dan Majerle Show, Dan wears a Mic for the big win over Boise State, some trick shots you'll want to see, what does it take to be a Havoc and "This or That" with Laura Piera.
12/11/2018 - Monty in the Morning on 1580 the Fanatic

Coach Dan Majerle discusses the Nevada loss, reflects on the Colangelo Classic as an overall event (**TRIGGER WARNING**: He does brag about the Havocs), and looks ahead to GCU's upcoming trip to Texas.
1/8/2019 - Monty in the Morning on 1580 the Fanatic

Coach Majerle joins Monty in the Morning talking GCU Hoops! As the Lopes head to New Mexico State, has the team turned the corner defensively? Can Trey Drechsel become a more consistent contributor, and how has Carlos Johnson adjusted to being a bench contributor? Majerle previews the Lopes upcoming road trip to New Mexico and Rio. NMSU/UTRGV.
