Arkansas State is playing App State right now... It's early October on a Tuesday night. The weather there is always warmer than it is in MAC country... Although it has been 85 in Toledo all week. Anyways...

The crowd reminds me of a CMU mid week crowd with a decent student crowd with fairly bad views on the camera.

Tuesday games suck on TV regardless of the month or team, in comparison relative to their weekend crowd. This is a TV ESPN problem, not a MAC problem. I do enjoy watching this game, getting my fill for football mid week.

I CAN understand that the GAME is my observational focus, not my judgement of the crowd. Unless of course... A Sun Belt fan wants to make fun of one of our crowds later in the season. Still. I love football.

It's a Group of 5 problem. Especially for MAC and Sbelt

Well not necessarily. I remember Wazzu hosted a ranked Pac-12 team a few years ago on a Thursday I think, they got something like 21K listed attendance. Any isolated college will have troubles unless you're an established football power in a major conference (in which case you're probably not going to be scheduled for a Tuesday) or on a hot streak (e.g. Miami in 2003).
45 minutes into SportsCenter this morning and I've seen zero highlights from the two MAC games played last night. Gotta love the publicity the MAC gets from weekday games.
About as much post-game attention as the MAC gets anytime, Saturday’s included. In all fairness, if you’re not a fan of a MAC team and you’re watching football last night, you’re watching Temple-UCF which was a whole lot better than either MAC game. And that’s not factoring in the NFL game last night, even as poor as it was. If the MAC had a ranked/undefeated team playing, you’d see it on SportsCenter the next day. Those games last night just don’t move the needle nationally.

But it's another hole in the supposed "exposure" argument that we supposedly get from midweek games.

The Ohio-WMU game was on one of their network channels. In an entire one hour period you can't show 20 seconds of highlights from a game on your own network?

The argument is, you can play your games midweek and have them available to view or play them them on the weekends without TV. The in person crowds are negligible either way.

Please don't show any highlights of that game05-nono
yeah, I would pass on showing any highlights of that game. It would be one big Ohio highlight reel.

Axe, it didn't even move the needle in Kalamazoo last night, either.
