Tyson Walker. Christ The King (NYC) point guard grad. Will prep at New Hampton this year. Adam Finkelstein called him "a steal in the CAA. Pure point guard with highest level basketball IQ."
I’m at work and you beat me to this as I was going to post this.

This is what I posted a few weeks ago on DHD about Walker ... which is a great get for us!

Hope Walker had a great enough visit to seriously consider NU.

Heres two of his games against CKs arch rival Archbishop Molloy last winter. Both teams were stacked.

CK had Walker, #21 Kofi Cockburn whos 6-11 270 as a Jr., and a 6-11 Fr. #33 Moussa Cisse.

While Molloy had 7-1 Sr. #1 Moses Brown whos now a Freshman at UCLA, Sr, forward #2 Khalid Moore, whos now a Freshman at Georgia Tech and Jr. G #50 Cole Anthony, whos the father of former Knick Greg Anthony.

Both Cockburn and Anthony will play their senior season at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. Anthony is rated the #1 prep player in the country.

New Hampton is one of the prep schools that livestreams a lot of sports so we will get a chance to see him. NERR says that Walker is their best newcomer but getting playing time won't be easy because their star (commited to Nebraska) is a point guard, too.
So this is what what we will have in 2019-20.

Soph. C Greg Eboigbodin

Jr. F Tomas Murphy
Soph. F Jason Strong
Soph. F/G Shaquille Walters
RJr. F/G Max Boursiquot
Fr. F Quirin Emanga

Grad. G Red Gresham
Sr. G Bolden Brace
Sr. G Shawn Occeus
Jr. G Myles Franklin
Sr. G Jordan Roland
Fr. G Tyson Walker
Fr. G Quirin Emanga

Now here’s the thing, Red will be a grad student, so he could leave and play his last year elsewhere.

In any event, we’ll still have a very good team.

Still one scholarship left, right? Also, Max will be a junior and Jason a soph.
Why is Gresham leaving? He's listed as a junior.

I think Wiz is just pointing out that as a grad student he is eligible to leave no matter how remote the possibility.

Sorry, I copy and pasted the roster from an old post and didn’t update the players class years.

Will fix.
NU has reportedly offered Tyler Kolek a 6-3 guard from St. Georges in Rhode Island.

He was named Gatorade Player of Year in RI this year. He can play the 1 or 2.

Has offers from a bunch of Ivies, Bryant, BU, UNH, Hartford.

Ahmir Langlais visited this week. His dad tweeted that it was a "great visit."
