YES
Worried, no. Expected to be 2-2 after OOC. Need to address some issues.
We'll see if they were fixed. UMiami and Fresno State are better than the Arkansas and Iowa State teams, UT beat in 2015.
Sure, most Toledo fans expected to start 2-2. But I can guarantee you none of us expected to get absolutely demolished in every facet of the game against another G5 opponent. That Fresno outcome really knocked the wind out of the season's sails.

Agree...we’re 2-3 in our last 5 games. 2 L’s were blowouts by other G5 teams. 1 W vs a HS team and another against a decent G5.

That's a good comparison. We also are not close to as efficient on the defensive side of the ball as in 2015. I think our Special Teams is a very positive aspect of this years team. The offense isn't running on all cylinders but with competent QB play we aren't turning it over and are great YAC. 8-4 is probably the prediction at this point playing in the competitive MAC West with UB as a crossover.

Our special teams have great to this point. They have definitely helped us win
Don't forget BG was 2-10 last season and put up 37 points against the Rockets. Doege as a Freshman passed for 270 yds and 4 TD's in the 2017 game.

His stats are decent if you compare them to MG
UT defensive rankings after 5 games:

Stat / National Rank / MAC Rank
Rush Defense / 97 / 9
Pass Defense / 109 / 10
Total Defense / 111 / 9
Scoring Defense / 108 / 10
Red Zone Defense / 124 / 12 (this is tied for last, have not made a stop yet)
Also, so far the Rockets have given up 28 plays of 20 yards or more in the last 4 games - 7 plays per game.

Of the 24 touchdowns scored against the Rockets D, 8 have been from more than 30 yards. Average TD scored was from 21 yards out.

This defense is really bad.
anyone know of a way to watch a replay of the bg game?
Is this a rhetorical question?

To answer the OP, yes we should be very concerned, without some rapid improvements this defense is going to cost UT a few MAC games during rest of the season, especially if offense has an off day.
