They are the best candidate in the MAC. I've said that for years. Unfortunately, the top MAC candidate still ranks very poorly on the list of overall candidates.

All these teams would he dilutive to our TV deal.

Do we really know that one or more of them would dilute our TV deal? Assuming that the candidate schools are genuinely committed to AAC-level athletics, would entry into the Hampton Roads, Western NY and/or San Antonio markets be worth the dividing of the pie into more pieces? Only ESPN knows, and I wouldn't count on them to tell us the truth. (ESPN prefers to pay less, not more, and the partitioning of the old BE into other contracted conferences has saved them millions.)

I suppose that's why we have a highly compensated commissioner.

But I do like the fact that UCONN will have a travel partner!

UB's WBB team has been to the NCAA tourney the past two seasons, they made it to the sweet 16 last year. The MBB team has also gone 2 straight years and defeated Arizona in the first round.
